About NGA
The National Geographic Association (NGA) is dedicated to environmental protection and sustainable development. It is implementing two major projects:

  • Work with schoolchildren from remote parts of the world. As part of this project, children are taught the importance of nature conservation and environmental values.
  • Scientific expeditions. A group of scientists is exploring different ecosystems, collecting data to protect them.

In addition, the NGA organizes charity events that draw attention to environmental issues and help raise funds for nature conservation.

Environmental Expeditions
Let's give a hand to our World!
The long Amazon rivers
The scientific expedition to the Amazon Rivers is aimed at studying the unique ecosystem of tropical forests, the diversity of flora and fauna. The expedition participants collected samples of water, soil and vegetation, and observed the animals.

The purpose of the expedition was not only to expand scientific knowledge, but also to draw attention to the need to protect the Amazonian forests.
Exploring The Great Barrier Reef
The scientific expedition is aimed at exploring the underwater world of the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Australia, studying the ecosystems of the coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef and their inhabitants. The expedition participants were engaged in assessing the impact of climate change and pollution on the marine environment.

The goal of the expedition is not only to deepen knowledge about marine ecology, but also to develop recommendations for the protection and conservation of Australia's unique underwater ecosystems.
Save The Whale
The scientific expedition to rescue whales is focused on studying the migration routes and behavior of these majestic mammals in the ocean. The expedition team members rescued a family of whales from an ice trap!

The purpose of the expedition was to monitor whale populations, as well as develop a strategy to protect whales.
Exploring the Himalayan Highlands
The scientific expedition in the Himalayas is dedicated to exploring the unique ecosystems of the highlands, studying the impact of climate change on glaciers and the biodiversity of the region.

The participants collected data on the flora and fauna of the Himalayan highlands. In the course of the study, a strategy was developed to combat the loss of biodiversity in this area.
Chatity School Projects
Charity Schools of Nepal is the first and largest project of the NGA. This project is relevant for residents of remote and disadvantaged areas. Children receive high-quality education and a unique opportunity to enroll in prestigious universities around the world.

The program includes language courses, exam preparation, and individual counseling, which allows students to confidently enter the world of higher education. With the support of philanthropists, these schools create hope and prospects for future generations, opening the doors to new opportunities and success.
